2Q20 : Week 7

Sorry about the low quality photos, I'm in a rush but wanted to add something here. It's been a while. Here's a medusan immortal and an ashen circle I painted, the latter as a test. The rim of the Word Bearer's base needs to be painted black. I used pale blue grey from vallejo, but it just looks like resin or plastic and cheapens the whole thing. 

I'm putting off the agro-schedule I posted earlier. I'm building some HobbyZone paint racks for the workshop at the moment. Hopefully that will allow me to keep a neater work station and improve my throughput. HobbyZone is amazing, but putting everything together WELL takes a long time.

Paint recipe:
Iron hands sword: vallejo vermillion (mid), vallejo black (mixer for low tone), games workshop wild rider red (high tone)
Iron hands armor: vallejo basalt grey (for nmm base), mix vallejo whites for tone., armor, spray black. Nuln oil airbrush pass on armor, retouch nmm with pure white (do not touch reds).

word bearer armor: nocturna models cold red range for mid, low, and high tones. Dust over with carbon black pigment. Retouch with high tones and edge with high tone and white mix. vallejo copper and vallejo ivory for detailing. Leadbelcher with carbon pigment over for trim.Flames on book icon are vallejo game color golden yellow and games workshop troll orange.
